This mascara is without a doubt the holy trifecta of mascaras! It lengthens, it tints and it volumizes each lash in such a beautiful way without excessive applications. I cannot even look at another mascara after using this one. As a model who has gotten her make-up done by world-class make-up artists around the globe, I can honestly say that L’Oreal’s Voluminous False Fiber Lashes is the best one! Make sure you get the “Blackest Black Noir Profond” (not water-proof). And for LESS THAN $10, this mascara doesn’t even come close to the Chanel mascara I’ve used for years!

Coachella make-up should always be very minimal or at least leaning toward the more natural side. Amongst the beautiful flower-crowned, fringe vested, and flash tatted Coachella babes, there’s another little trend that you need to know about… SUN-KISSED FAUX FRECKLES. You might think drawn on freckles is a faux pas, however they are a very fun and subtle addition if you want change up your make-up AND they give the illusion that you have very little make up on because if you were to put make-up over freckles you wouldn’t be able to see them. And since freckles naturally form on the skin when exposed to the sun, Coachella is a perfect time to apply them without making it seem too obvious. They will mostly be concentrated on your upper cheeks and nose, as well as forehead and chin.

Since not all freckles are the same size and color, we recommend using a high quality eyebrow brush like Anastasia’s Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in a soft brown followed by a second application with Anastasia’s Dip Brow in dark brown to get the most natural lookBegin by dotting on your upper cheeks and then work your way toward the bridge of your nose but try to concentrate mostly on the sides of your nose. You’ll want to add a few more to your forehead and chin because people who naturally have freckles will have them on those areas as well. After the first round of application, use a beauty blender to lightly blend them into the skin and then add a few darker freckles using a small morphe brush with Anastasia’s Dip Brow in dark brown.

Happy Coachella!

The most perfect nail color that compliments any skin tone! This nail polish has been my beauty secret for a long time and I never wanted to share it with anyone until now! It’s classy, elegant and feminine. It’s called “Waltz” by Essie and it took about 20 years of nail salon visits to find this perfect shade! It goes with absolutely everything, anything and anyone! We use this color year round: Spring, Summer, Fall! It’s SO versatile and everyone compliments how gorgeous it looks! Try it, you will not be disappointed!

The Undone Look

54169c3e374fcc2edde6df83dcca4686We’re loving this look from The Beauty Department! It’s SO effortless but pretty and chic at the same time! All you have to do is tie a SMALL CLEAR ELASTIC  mid-way towards the end of your hair and wrap your hair into a bun as you normally would and let the tail drop.

TIP: make sure to texturize your hair with either dry shampoo or a thickening spray to give the bun volume and hold the hair strands together. Lastly, when finished, use hairspray to keep the look in place.

March Must: Red Lips

Everyone can pull off a red lip, you just have to find the right shade. Fair skin looks best with a blue-red hue, olive skin with a orange-red hue and dark skin with a burgundy hue.

Top-Secret Soft Skin Scrub

115The best way to get soft, glowing skin is to exfoliate it while taking a bath. After you let your skin soak and soften in a warm bath your body scrub will be more effective at exfoliating the dead skin off.  The only thing we use is this all natural 3-ingredient body scrub. Super easy, affordable and all the ingredients can most likely be found in your kitchen cabinets!

  1. Honey
  2. Lemon
  3. Sugar

Add the honey and stir until the ingredients bind together into a medium-to-thick consistency. Depending on how thick you want your scrub to be, you can add or subtract the amount of honey. In addition, I would use one half of a freshly cut lemon for every 1/2 cup of granulated sugar.

The Ultimate Beauty Bath

You know that feeling you get at the end of a really long week? After flying around for work, hosting parties, attending charities, taking care of little children and spending time with family–a Bombette has very little time alone. Bath time is YOU time and it’s important to make it a ritual when you’re constantly on the go. We’ve nailed the most glamorous at-home-bath routine with silky oils, detoxifying soaks and rose petals for glowing and youthful skin.

  1. Bath salts (or epsom salt)
  2. Bath oil (or a teaspoon of coconut oil)
  3. Rose petals
  4. Candles

3 Mistakes You Make Using Dry Shampoo

I personally used to hate dry shampoo because it would turn my roots white and my hair looked even worse!  My hair looked so bad that I would end up having to wash it just because the white would not come out. However today, LOW AND BEHOLD, dry shampoo is my best friend! The trick is to spray it on your part, then spray 1-2 sections next to your part and lastly spray throughout while feathering your hair. (Give your hair about an hour to absorb the product before brushing it out profusely and freaking out about the white residue. It will blend.) When the dry shampoo eventually absorbs the oil, your hair will look like a goddess–perfectly dry, voluminous and texturized. Because the spray is drying, it coats your hair with a thin layer of product, making your hair feel and look a lot thicker!

  1. SPRAYING TOO CLOSE–If your hair is oily like mine, the product needs to coat not only your scalp but half-way down your hair follicle. Spray about a rulers-length away for about 3 seconds each time.
  2. SPRAYING TOO MUCH–as mentioned above, you don’t want to spray for more than 3 seconds at a time. Allow it to absorb for a minute and check to see if it has turned white… If it still looks oily, then reapply sparingly. If you do spray too much, allow your hair 30 minutes to absorb before brushing it out.
  3. IMMEDIATELY RUBBING IT IN–You don’t want to do this. Let the product fully dry, yes, that means allowing it to turn white. Then wait a few minutes to a half-hour to allow the product to set in. By doing this, you are letting the product fully do its job and blend with your oils.
