It’s called “Golden Milk” or “Turmeric Boost” and it is a powder that contains turmeric and pepper as well as other additional spices. I add this every morning to a glass of nut-milk (warmed up via espresso machine). I am OBSESSED with Silks Almond Protein milk! It’s low calorie and contains added protein which ALSO makes this a perfect post-workout drink if you exercise early in the morning like I do! After drinking this everyday, I’ve felt:
- More centered and calm
- More energized
- Better digestion
- Less achey after working out
In addition, I have been told that eating something high in fat increases the benefits reaped from drinking golden milk. So what I like to do is add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil or ghee and sometimes 1 teaspoon of honey that we get from our own honey bees! Here is the recipe below:
- 1 cup of almond milk (hemp or coconut are also good options)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil or Ghee
- 1 tablespoon of “Golden Milk” or “Turmeric Boost”
Combine ingredients and warm it up just before you start to see it boil.

Let’s introduce a new word to the Bombette Dictionary:
- Lips that have just the right amount of puffiness and pout but don’t look overdone
Think of your lips as “clouds”, they are beautiful, puffy, soft, subtle in the sky and don’t block out the sunshine. When our lips become too big, they become thunderclouds— large, heavy, dense, overbearing and block out the light that shines behind them. That light is our overall beauty and there is a fine line between clouds that float and compliment the sunshine versus clouds that pour and completely block it out. If we do too much to our our clouds they will start to “rain” (aka droop) and ruin our sunshine. The bigger the better might be true for our hair and diamonds but it’s not true for our lips. Keep it simple, keep it subtle, keep it like a cloud.

Summer is right around the corner and we are going on our health kick again! As many of you know, apple cider vinegar has many detox benefits and Hope Dworaczyk swears by this liquid when she wants to get her body in tip-top shape. The logic is simple. Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid, probiotics and enzymes. These compounds form a powerful elixir that kills bad bacteria and promotes good bacteria in the body; leading to an optimal digestive system (hence a trimer waist line), stronger immune system, more energy and BETTER SKIN!
WHEN SHOULD YOU TAKE IT?
- Add 2 tbs to warm water and honey first thing upon waking and it will relieve bad breath and constipation.
- Take 2 tbs 20 minutes before a meal and it will curb your appetite, aiding in weight loss.
- Take 2 tbs after a meal and it will help with digestion.
- Take 1 tbs throughout the day if you’re tired or have a soar throat, it will boot your energy and any kill bacteria you may have.
TIP: The best apple cider vinegar to buy is by Bragg. It’s been around the longest, is 100% organic, raw and unfiltered. If you can’t find that brand, then it is important to make sure that the apple cider vinegar is raw and unfiltered, containing “the mother”, which is beneficial bacteria that your body needs to work optimally.
